Peugeot powers ahead with world’s first diesel electric hybridFriday, February 03, 2012 The new Peugeot 3008 HYbrid4, the world’s first diesel electric hybrid is now available to pre-order in Ireland with full prices and specifications just announced.
Available from €36,995 plus dealer delivery related charges, the 3008 HYbrid4 will be previewed at Peugeot Dealerships this month ahead of its April launch. This environmentally friendly, ground breaking car introduces a combination of diesel and electric power, offering up to 200bhp and four driving modes: Automatic, all-electric Zero Emissions, Sport and 4WD modes.
The vehicle delivers huge benefits in cost of ownership thanks to low CO2 and consumption returning up to 74MPG (3.8 litres/100km). The 3008 HYbrid4 2.0 HDi 99g 200bhp version which emits just 99g/km CO2, will retail from €36,995, plus dealer delivery related charges and qualifies for Band A road tax of €160.
Standard equipment will include alarm and deadlocks, cruise control, speed limiter, climate control, 16” alloys, automatic headlights, rear parking sensors, Bluetooth and USB connectivity. A second version, emitting 104g/km CO2 and also qualifying for Band A road tax, will retail from €38,695 and gains additional standard equipment: a 2-screen video pack, side rear sunblinds, a Head Up Display with Distance Alert, 17” alloys, satellite navigation, carpet mats, driver seat lumbar adjustment, electric folding mirrors and a folding front passenger seat.
The Peugeot 3008 HYbrid4, as a hybrid vehicle, qualifies for a government rebate of €1,500 up to the end of 2012. Prices quoted include the government rebate.
